PokeLenz Update 2.0 Incoming

A Huge PokeLenz Update Is Here

Hey everyone,

We’ve been a little quiet lately — and for good reason.

The team has been hunkered down building what might be the biggest PokeLenz update yet, and today we’re finally ready to share it with you.

This release completely upgrades how scanning works, dramatically improves performance, and introduces powerful new ways to browse and manage your collection.

Let’s jump in.

All-New Scanning System

This is the headline feature.

We rebuilt our scanning engine from the ground up — faster, smarter, and way more flexible.

Batch Scanning

You can now scan multiple cards in one session without stopping and restarting. Perfect for ripping through stacks of new pulls or cataloging your collection in bulk.

Got a few cards laid out on a table? Snap one photo.

PokeLenz now detects and processes multiple cards in a single image automatically. No more scanning one-by-one if you don’t want to.

It’s faster, smoother, and just makes sense.

Improved Live Mode Scanning

Live mode just got a serious upgrade.

  • Faster recognition
  • More stable detection
  • Better accuracy
  • Smoother overall experience

Whether you’re scanning one card or many, Live Mode now feels snappier and more reliable than ever.

Massive Performance Upgrades

This update isn’t just about features — it’s about speed.

We made deep performance improvements across the entire app:

  • Faster scan processing
  • Quicker loading times
  • Smoother navigation
  • More responsive UI

You’ll feel the difference immediately.

New Gallery Browsing Experience

Your collection deserves better browsing.

We redesigned the gallery to make exploring your cards easier and more enjoyable:

  • Cleaner layout
  • Faster scrolling
  • Improved organization
  • More intuitive navigation

Managing your collection should feel effortless — and now it does.

Favorite Your Favorite Artists

This one’s for the art lovers.

You can now favorite specific artists and highlight their artwork in your collection. Whether you’re collecting a particular illustrator or just love certain styles, it’s now easier to keep track of the art you care about most.
The Gallery now features a searching function, as well as the ability to favorite

Better Search & Gallery Search

We significantly upgraded search functionality:

  • Faster results
  • Smarter matching
  • Improved filtering
  • Easier discovery

Users will also now be able to search through artworks. Colors, styles, Pokemon, artists! Easily find artworks you’ll love!

Finding exactly what you’re looking for is now quicker and more accurate.

Over-the-Air Updates

This is a big one for staying current.

PokeLenz can now receive new card data over the air — without requiring a full app update.

That means:

  • New sets can be added faster
  • Newly released cards can appear sooner
  • Improvements to card data can roll out instantly
  • You don’t have to wait on the app store

The result? A more up-to-date experience, all the time.

Built-In Tutorials

New to PokeLenz? Or just want to make sure you’re using every feature?

We added guided tutorials to help you get the most out of the app — especially the new scanning system. These will automatically show for everyone, and once viewed won’t be seen again. We realized PokeLenz is quite deep and complex to utilize, so we want to show off certain features not many know about.

Whether you’re a casual collector or a serious grinder, we’ve got you covered.

And There’s More

This update includes dozens of small refinements, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements that make the entire experience smoother.

Some changes are big and flashy. Others are subtle — but they all add up.

Why This Update Matters

PokeLenz started as a simple way to scan and identify cards.

This update pushes it closer to our bigger vision: making it the fastest, smartest, and most enjoyable way to manage your collection.

We’re incredibly grateful for your feedback, feature requests, and patience while we built this out.

This one was a big lift.
